This machine is designed for determining the resistance of vamp to abrasion. Vamp will be damaged when the coarse surface rubs against the vamp.
The specimen is fixed to the anvil. A pendulum with specified mass swing from a given height to impact the specimen. The specimen is assessed for damage by comparing it with the gray scale.
