This machine is designed to determine the resistance of the figure skate to impact at a low temperature. Remove the figure skate from low temperature chamber and tie it to the pendulum`s end, whose height is adjusted properly.Close the protection cover and press impact button to have the figure skate free fall to impact the rubber plate.
This impact test should be finished within 90 seconds.
The impact height is adjustable for meeting different tests. This machine is equipped with a closed protecting net, and the protecting door shall not be opened during testing for your personal safety.
Method 1: Test both sides of the figure skate`s blade (700mm impact height)
Method 2: Test front tip and back tip of the figure skate`s blade (1400mm impact height)
